2020 Hyundai Santa Fe
The Hyundai Santa Fe is a midsize family SUV that was completely redesigned for the 2019 model year as this stunning model entered its fourth-generation. If your shopping list for a new vehicle includes things like handsome styling, a comfortable ride, a high-quality interior and value for money, here’s why you should head off to Mississauga Hyundai to check out the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe for yourself on a test drive.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Exterior styling

If you want a perfect illustration of how far Hyundai has come as a global automaker in the last decade or less, all you have to do is look at the Santa Fe of a couple of generations ago and compare it with this one. The new Santa Fe has to be one of the most handsome, stylish and modern-looking SUVs in its class, and the recently revised styling now sits well with other stunningly attractive models in the current Hyundai lineup such as the Tucson.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Trim levels

With four trim levels for buyers to choose from in the Santa Fe lineup, there’s one more than in some other Hyundai model lineup like the Accent, but four could be the sweet spot for a model like this. The first trim level in the Santa Fe family is the Essential, and then we have the Preferred, Luxury and the range-topping Ultimate. The Essential sounds as though it’s pretty basic, which it isn’t, but the Ultimate at the other end of the trim level spectrum is probably perfectly named.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Powertrain

There are two engines in the Santa Fe family. The standard unit under the hood of the entry-level Essential and Preferred models is a 2.4-litre four-cylinder that develops 185 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. The other models get a 2.0-litre turbo-four that puts out 235 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Every version of the Hyundai SUV comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all models other than the Essential are standard all-wheel-drive. The Essential is a standard front-drive model, but buyers can upgrade to all-wheel-drive if they want to.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Features and equipment

As already mentioned, the Essential trim level comes with far more than just the essentials. Standard features include: 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, LED daytime running lights, heated front seats, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
At the other end of the trim levels, the Ultimate lives up to its expectations with standard features like heated front and rear seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, a head-up display, a wireless device charging pad, leather upholstery, and a very impressive premium sound system.

2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Safety Features

Any family vehicle has to take safety seriously, and the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe is very serious about safety.
